Who we are

Recommence Ltd (trading as Ferendy), a company registered in England & Wales. Data controller for ferendy.com and the Ferendy studio service.

What we collect

• Lead information: name, boutique name, email, optionally phone and country. Collected when you submit a brief, request a PDF, or message us.
• Outreach contact details: for business development, we may collect a boutique's business name and the name and business email or public social handle of a relevant contact, from public sources such as your website, your public social-media profiles, and the Companies House register, in order to make relevant, opt-out-respecting contact about our editorial service. You can object at any time via privacy@ferendy.com.
• Order & billing data: for active commissions, including billing address and payment metadata via Stripe.
• Communication records: WhatsApp messages, emails, and call notes relating to your account.
• Reference material: product images and mood references you upload for production.
• Analytics: anonymised usage data via PostHog and Google Analytics 4 (cookie-gated).

Why we process it

Contract performance (delivering your campaigns), legitimate interest (marketing, security), and consent (analytics cookies). Reference material is used only to fulfil your brief and is not used for model training without explicit consent.

• Error monitoring: Sentry

All processors are bound by GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.

How long we keep it

• Leads: 24 months from last contact
• Orders & briefs: 7 years (UK tax law)
• Conversations: 24 months
• Delivered assets: perpetual (you own them)
